Thanks to WordPress, membership sites no longer have to cost thousands of dollars. I’m in the process of converting several of my products to membership sites, as that platform offers some different sales opportunities over simple download sites. However, the number of WordPress membership plugins offered is increasing, so I began to investigate which ones might work for me. I decided on the simplest one with the least number of features for my foray into WordPress membership sites.
WP MemberChamp, works seamlessly with my email marketing service, aWeber, which is a big plus in my book. You can use this plugin with any theme, and it will create a log-in page, member content, and public content within seconds. I love that the plugin is so easy to set up.
The downside? It only works with PayPal and aWeber, so if you don’t use those two, this plugin won’t work for you. And, you cannot offer drip content or multiple membership levels.
