The Power of Strategic Alliances

I wrote in a previous post about the fact that the Lone Ranger never really rode alone. Strategic alliances are a really powerful way to get yourself moving in your business, as you have a partner (or several) that will help keep you motivated and on track.

I’m currently working with 2 coaching colleagues on an alliance, each of which is resulting in a product.

The first, TurnkeyWorkshopsforCoaches.com, is a project I’m working on with Anita Pizycki of the Professional Coaching Company. We have discovered that as coaches, it’s tough sometimes when you need to get out in front of an audience to create a workshop from scratch. Therefore, we’re offering coaches the opportunity to sell through our website workshops they’ve already created. Buyers can purchase a turnkey workshop, tweak it a bit to fit their own style and personality, and be good to go with a conplete presentation in a very short period of time.

The second is an email coaching program for all small biz owners who only need an occasional "dose" of coaching, or a booster shot or coaching, so to speak. This will soon be found at YourBizBooster.com. I’m working on this project with Don McAvinchey of Your Life First Coaching.

We’re making great strides on both projects and should be ready to have each of the websites go live for sales in the next month or so.

What I’ve realized in this process, or had confirmed for myself, I guess I should say, is that two heads are better than one..:) And, it’s been great knowing that I don’t have to do it all alone!
