How are things going with your business? I’ll be honest — I’ve had to stop and reconfigure several things I had planned to implement because now is just not the time to do so.
With so many businesses being shut down because they are classified as non-essential, times are getting pretty tough all over during this COVID-19 pandemic.
I’ve come across several resources, some free and some for a fee, that might help you with your marketing and/or recovery efforts.
1. If you will recall in an article I release a few weeks ago, How to Stay Connected To Your Clients During COVID-19, I mentioned live streaming as an option. If you’re not sure about the content of your live streams, Scott Sylvan Bell has come up with a free download of 250 ideas for your videos, available here.
2. Speaking of live streaming, if you are not sure what software to use to live stream, Robert Plank has put together a very inexpensive training to get you up to speed. Have you noticed that so many marketers and business owners are live streaming lately due to the pandemic? Zoom (which you may use for meetings) can do it, as long as you pay for the $40/mo webinar package. So will BeLive, StreamYard, and a bunch of others… again, monthly fee. AND, surprise surprise, a few of “those” services… you pay monthly and you still can’t stream into a group, for instance… only a page! Robert uses free software to teach you (no monthly fee, and also free) to record YouTube videos. It does web camera, and screen captures, saves to a file without streaming, so you can upload the file to YouTube, Facebook video, LinkedIn. You can also take a video you previously recorded and live stream it back out to Facebook Live… cool, right? Check out his course here. Please buy the course here.
3. Kathleen Gage has a Podcast Directory of 540 hot shows. If you’re searching for places to speak because all events have been canceled, you can still get booked on podcasts. She’s also throwing in a free training on how to start your own podcast. Get your copy here.
4. Jennifer Kem has put together a fabulous resource on access COVID-19 stimulus money for businesses, found here.
5, If you’re in need of a quick website, Brandi Sappington has put a tutorial video on how you can quickly create a website in Canva.
6, I have put together a quick video called, The Tool You Need to Avoid Losing Sales So You Can Market Your Business During the COVID-19 Pandemic,…Without Coming Across as a Sleazebag.
I hope you find these helpful!
