Alternative to GrandCentral.com
Back in July I had posted about getting a free phone number and voicemail through GrandCentral.com. However, since that time GrandCentral.com has been purchased by Google and they are no longer assigning numbers but are taking requests for numbers instead. And, I have used my quota of invites to help others bypass the reservation system.
NetZero is now offering a similar service through PrivatePhone.com. The features offering appears to be similar to GrandCentral.com, and I haven’t yet discovered any flaws. So, try it out for yourself!
