Giving Your Clients Some Extra Attention

I heard this great story today in a teleclass that’s part of a series of classes on multiple streams of income for coaches. Ester Beris of the Clown Marketing Institute, https://www.clownmarketingtips.com/, who was leading the class, told a story of of a very clever marketing technique she used when she was on vacation recently.

While at her vacation destination, she bought about 30 postcards and individually addressed them to her clients, telling them that she was having a great time on vacation but was looking forward to returning to help them build their clown businesses. She had brought her client contact info with her and addressed and mailed about 30 of these postcards.

One of her clients loved what she did and told Ester that he felt very special in that she had remembered him on her vacation. In fact, he said he carried the card around with him because he was so motivated by it.

I thought this idea of Ester’s was a great idea–it takes so little sometimes to make your clients feel extra-special.

How can you pay better attention to your client base and let them know that you remember and appreciate them?
