Adventures in WordPress
This past week I gave myself the challenge of learning more about WordPress, so I hopped on the WP bandwagon by buying my first theme, Socrates. I’m learning more about affiliate marketing and creating that as a more serious revenue stream, so the Socrates theme is touted as being ideal for setting up affiliate marketing sites. Joel Comm’s people provided pretty thorough tutorials and are very responsive on their tech support forum to problems above and beyond the installation of the Socrates theme. I’m still not accustomed to having to think about things (i.e. plugins) that are taken care of automatically when I use Typepad. I’m hoping the customization ability of WP will outweigh the PITA factor of maintaining WP..LOL
