I just found out this morning that a dear friend and colleague was diagnosed with a form of cancer. The cancer is treatable, fortunately, and she begins chemo next week. Right now she's on some heavy-duty pain meds, which has her a bit fuzzy, as you might imagine.
We were talking about her biz, and while she thinks she can finish up any work currently on her desk, she is wondering about orders from new clients while she's undergoing chemo.
She has just resigned herself to losing any new clients during this time. Is there a way to handle these new clients without losing the client but still being fair to the client?
I've got some ideas but want to get additional input.
Suggestions???
