My Newest Toy

Those of you who have been following me for awhile know how much I love new technology tools, especially those tools that make your life easier.

For the last two weeks I have been playing around on my trial account of a tool called ClickFunnels. I was inspired by the opt-in and sales pages that the leaders of my mastermind group were creating, and when I found out they were using ClickFunnels to create those pages, I decided to check it out.

I think this software came out a number of months ago, but I ignored it because I was quite happy with the job LeadPages was doing for me.

I’m always skeptical about software that promises so much.. but I gotta tell you… so far, I’m VERY impressed.

The good?

It does just about everything. Landing pages. Membership sites. List building. Webinars. Automated Webinars. Launches. Evergreen Launches.

They really thought of everything in this one program!

It’s also 100% drag-and-drop. I love it because it works in a very similar fashion to my WordPress theme from Thrive Themes.  You can move items around. Drop and drop images. Every page is fully customizable – and you don’t need a programmer or designer. It’s really slick.

Now, like with all software, there is a little learning curve – but not bad. I was able to setup my first page and simple funnel in about 20 minutes. Future funnels should take me about 1/2 that.

There are two major issues I’ve had with LeadPages. First, I’ve got a long list of LeadPages now and it’s tough for me to figure out and remember what page goes with what sales funnel. With ClickFunnels, I no longer have to worry about that, since all of your funnel pages are grouped together under the funnel name.

Secondly, in LeadPages, I’m not able to customize the forms as much as I would like to. Sometimes I need an element from another form that I want to use in the form that I’m creating, but I’m not able to add that to my current LP. With ClickFunnels, I can add whatever extra elements I desire to any page.

The amount you save by not having to hire programmers, techies and graphic designers to build pages and funnels will add up to thousands of dollars!

Plus, I was on a webinar that Russell Brunson, creator of ClickFunnels, held yesterday. They are planning to add in an affiliate management program, autoresponder service, and customer segmentation options. They currently have these options available in separate programs, but they are close to being finished with the programming to integrate these into the ClickFunnels software — at no extra cost! That’s a third beef I have with LeadPages–every time they add a new feature, you have to upgrade to a higher-cost plan to be able to use that feature.

Now, the downside of ClickFunnels  is that it is MUCH more expensive that what I’m paying for LeadPages because I’m grandfathered into LP at their charter pricing. However, when CF rolls out the extra benefits as described above, my sticker shock will be tremendously reduced. 🙂

ClickFunnels is offering a free trial for you here and I recommend you give it a try for yourself. Play around and see how it works for you in your business.

As you might know, I never promote something until I get to try it myself. I prefer to take my time, fully examine it and see if it lives up to the hype. I’m a convert and switching all of my opt-in pages and sales and email funnels to ClickFunnels.

Give it a try and see what you think!
