The Magic of 11

In addition to being Veterans Day here in the U.S., 11-11-11 is that rare blip on the calendar when the numeric month, day and last two digits of the year match in perfect, and in this case palindromic, harmony.

Hollywood numerologist Glynis McCants, sees the triple 11s as a doorway to opportunity, making 11-11-11 the perfect day to seize that new career, new relationship or other goal you desire. Her advice for today? Light a white candle and write down exactly what you hope to accomplish before the year ends.

The best time to think good thoughts for those wishes? You guessed it – 11:11 a.m. or 11:11 p.m.

Instead of sharing a Friday Find with you, I have a request of you for something I want to accomplish on 11/11/11. I’d like to win a $2500 VIP scholarship to a training program on local business marketing.  I’ve been doing some work in that area, and I’m really ready now to ramp up that side of my business.  I feel these guys can really help get me there.  If I win, I’ll be a lifetime VIP — pretty cool, right?!

How can you help?

I’m creating a special web site as my entry into the scholarship content.  Even though I lack any major talent like singing or dancing, I’m pretty resourceful.  Therefore, I’ve found some folks to make some wacky requests for me, like a woman dressed as a pea pod, a pet turtle carrying a sign, and a woman dressed as a fairy.  I’ll  let you in on my secret of how I got these people to do this for me next week. 🙂

In the meantime, I’d like to create some social proof for my application and add it to the site.  That’s where you come in.
