Q: I publish a weekly ezine and want to grow my list more quickly. I am doing some very limited article marketing right now. Is it advisable to be more aggressive with this tactic and if so what venue(s) do you recommend or would you suggest a more effective approach for growing my opt-in list?
A: Hi Lisa– There are 3 effective ways I’ve discovered to grow your list fairly quickly:
1. Article marketing –Send out at least 1 (if not 2) articles per week to article submission sites. I use the services of Submit Your Article for this. To be most effective with this strategy, you need a killer resource box. You can discover more about that in my article, How to Write Articles to Increase Traffic to Your Website.
2. Client-Capturing Device – Give visitors a reason to sign up for your list by giving away a free ebook or report. I see that you offer one on your site, but I think you’d be more successful with a more compelling title.
