Happy Birthday to Me, Once Again
I really do believe that the older that I get,
the quicker time seems to pass. I’ve
read that this is due to the fact that as we
age, we have more time behind us to compare
future time to, or something along those lines,
which tricks us into thinking that time is
passing more quickly.
As a kid it seemed as
though I had all the time in the world.
Now, I realize I’ve lived about half of my life.
Wonder if the second half will be any easier
than the first?? LOL
Eric took me to Houston
this past weekend for an early birthday
celebration (number 44, if you’re counting <g>)
and I had an amazing birthday lunch at an Indian
restaurant that has become my new favorite,
well, at least when I’m in the Houston area.
It’s always tough to find someone to go out to
lunch or dinner with me on my birthday because I
always want to go to an Indian restaurant, and
none of my friends or family members (except my
sister) like that cuisine. Eric isn’t a
big fan either, but he found several items that
he liked, so it was an enjoyable meal for us
both.
As far as what I’m doing
on my actual birthday this weekend, I’ll have my
nose to the grindstone finishing up my new
membership website,
OnlineBizU.com. But, I might be
persuaded to take some time off for some cake
and ice cream..<g>.
