I woke up this morning to computer troubles. Seems like this happens
now about once a year. I have a backup computer and backups of most of
my files, but I never seem to get around to making sure ALL of the
software that I regularly use is on the backup laptop. And, of course,
this issue is never more evident than when something goes awry with my
desktop computer..LOL
My primary computer is 2 years old and is getting slower by the day,
so it's probably time for an upgrade. I dread the upgrade process,
especially since I'll have to move to Windows 7 on a new system, which
may entail having to buy new versions of software and hardware that are
compatible with the new operating system. When I upgraded to Windows XP
a number of years ago (I never took the Vista bait), my upgrade cost me
about $800 by the time I bought all the compatible software/hardware
upgrades. I'm NOT looking forward to this process again. As much as I
might want it to be, upgrading a computer just isn't fun.
