Celebrating My Birthday
As of today, I'm off for a long weekend celebrating my birthday. I
don't really have big plans, although Eric has carved out a few hours
to take me to dinner on Friday in the time he has to flip his body from
working nights to working days. We're going to Spindletop Steakhouse, a
fairly new restaurant in downtown Beaumont. I don't eat steak, but
fortunately they have a variety of items on the menu, not to mention a
great wine list and a killer Mojito (Eric's current fav drink of the
moment). Eric gave me my birthday gift back in early April — an Asus
netbook — that's light and portable and will almost fit into the new
purse I bought myself as my own birthday present! LOL I also hope to
see the new Sex and the City 2 movie — gotta see what happens when
Aiden returns!
